The following data was acquired at Regent Hill Gold Mine, which is an active mine with over 200 boreholes on site, and well known geology.
The cross section represents a 360 metre Stratagem survey consisting of 24 individual stations.
Each station was spaced 15 metres apart. The output of the Stratagem EMAP 2D inversion process was contoured using Geosoft mapping software.
The resistive (blue) areas on the map correspond to known silicified gold bearing veins.
Note that the topography of the profile was determined by matching a topographic map to the survey
coordinates. The vertical lines with horizontal ticks correspond to the location (depth) of individual, true resistivity
readings calculated by the Stratagem processing software, and contoured by the Geosoft mapping software.
